A Report To The Academy, a short story by Kafka, reintroduced me to a literary figure from my past that I knew little about. Afterwards, a friend mentioned this story about Kafka and the Doll, and although I loved the story, it did not seem like something Kafka would do. That sent me on a quest to find out if it were true and I found no definitive answer. So I am left with a story that I found deeply moving and imaginative , regardless of who wrote it. And it also left me with wanting to read more of Kafka.
