I was a bit cnfused what this web site was, until I realised it's a tool for easier reading of Twitter threads. Neat.

I thought the name Daniel Foré sounded familiar, but it took me a moment to place it. Elementary OS was my primary desktop/laptop OS for several years. It's pretty good! Definitely worth a try.

And if Danielle somehow ends up reading this; congratulations, and good luck!

Elementary OS was my primary desktop/laptop OS

I've used it a few times & installed it in many places, but during the years when I primarily used Linux, it was plain Ubuntu most of the time. But I really like what ElementaryOS is doing with the (Linux) desktop & have been following them!

I was a bit confused what this web site was

I can imagine 😅 I've been trying out a few of those websites with Readup. In general the reading works well, but title here could be improved.

This particular thread was small. But there exist threads out there that, when collated, are 10+ min! Full articles in their own right!

Here's a good example from 5 months ago, imported with another app: A thread written by @awilkinson (lessons on building a company with rising competition).

I think properly integrating Readup with a good thread reader app could be interesting: share a Tweet thread with Readup, we'll import it into one of those apps for you in the background, then you can directly read from there on Readup. But of course, it's mostly a confusing gimmick for now :)
