        Ahh. Yes! The first time I read this poem, I was living in NYC. I remember walking up the the roof of the building to keep re-reading it about a dozen more times. It’s perfect. So glad you like it!

        In the years since, I have never looked at “x loves y” graffiti in the same way.

          Yes, I have always marveled at the graffiti on bridges, sides of buildings, mountains - their meanings, impulses and desire to be seen. Such extreme blank canvases! I always wanted to capture the artist in process - to witness such daring and boldness in the dark of night. This poem blew me away - loved it! Such originality!
