Blanding was ridic, and this homogenization is so interesting. I'm for it to a certain extent, yes I love design that pushes the limits but I also love that it's become easier to find what we need online. Homogenization helps in that way. I'd call it a win, sort of.
And if designs are becoming more similar because they are using the same libraries, that means they are likely becoming more accessible to the visually impaired, since popular libraries are generally better at conforming to accessibility standards than individual developers.
