Fascinating. I often wish that my flip phone had other "utility" apps. Specifically, maps & ride-hailing. But I'm okay with just calls & super short SMS messages (without emojis!)

It's definitely true that "social media, advertising, email and news" are the biggest offenders when it comes to sucking time. What a hard task these designers have to try to draw a line in the sand.
