If there is one advice that I’d freely dispense, it would be this: don’t conform. Never try to be a part of a clique or a group or a club. Preserve your individuality as zealously as possible. You might be a lot of things but when the paint dries, you are you. And it’s absolutely essential that you never forget this. That said, be gentle and friendly with all types of folks but avoid that sickening desire to be accepted or validated by a bunch of fellow humans. That’s not worth the beats left in your heart. Trust me on this. Treat your offline world as a living dairy and your social media as a retrospective journal. If somebody agrees with you, fine. If somebody disagrees with you, what’s the big deal? However, don’t be unnecessarily annoying—nothing makes your voice heard than the gentleness of your thoughts.
