      This is bringing up pre-teen memories of story telling circles of friends convincing themselves as much as others of certain details of their narrative. I really had put away these memories but obviously have not forgotten.

      And the more often we relive those memories, the less likely it is that they are true.

      I read something similar somewhere before. About how our minds try to fill in blanks in our memories, resulting in high level of recounting inaccuracies. Really interesting.
