Interesting read but this one section really didn’t sit well with me:

I get that he tried to point out he was scared of being in the hospital but the comparison doesn’t work. You can’t compare your mortality rate once you’re admitted to hospital with the general rate. That’s two very different things.

They got me, I sometimes thought. I have devoted my life to fighting viruses and finally, they get their revenge. For a week I balanced between heaven and Earth, on the edge of what could have been the end.
