It's hard to say that because Trump does or says something that Republicans like or agree with it. Some do, some don't. It's like when the right points at the worst and most extreme actors on the left and pretends like they represent all people of the left. "CHAZ-that's what the left wants". Not really. The challenge is that Trump is the head of the party.
Still, I'm with Brooks - I think things will change fast if he loses. Think about same sex marriage in 2008. Obama wasn't for it, no one was for it. California voted it down in prop 8! Just a few years later the script had completely flipped - people can and do change their minds. Winning and losing matters.
