      This all rings very true for me except for the idea that much larger increases in inflation could help to decrease inequality. I'll have to see if I can find some articles about Piketty's book. It would seem to me that increased inflation would only make things worse:

      1. If the purchasing power of your money is evaporating at an increasing rate, doesn't that only increase pressure to invest just to break even and avoid losing wealth?
      2. If the price of food and gas are going up won't those increases outpace any increase in wages and affect those with the least amount of wealth the most?
