After the last post, an article about brake dust pollution, I decided to Google pollution caused by tire wear. It has indeed been identified, this article talks more about in reference to microplastic pollution in waterways and oceans.

The article also contains one of my pet peeves, they wrote "break" instead of "brake" when referring to stopping a vehicle.
