-Software Engineers are motivated to solve epic problems with solutions that people love. -Most smaller products are the result of hundreds of failed individual value attempts and dozens of failed group level value attempts, and large products and services are the results of tens of thousands of failed individual value attempts, and hundreds of failed group level value attempts. -In alignment with management systems theory which postulates that management most know how to do the work, virtually all of the leading technical companies that are creating new value and transforming the world are led by people who have professionally done the work of creating new things for several years. It’s also interesting to note that many of these leaders are software engineers.
