Keep your eyes peeled on DAOs!

Here is the DAO - I am a part of, Friends W Benefits.

Reach out to me if you have any questions, as DAOs are the new LLC's of Web3. I am attempting to be a leading educator in the ways of Web3, so please feel free to subscribe to my newsletter as I continue to write on this topic.

New things to me! I’ve checked out Mirror before via your posts, and it intrigues me that FWB uses that decentralized platform for writing a newsletter/blog, and other decentralized platforms (like the Snapshot voting platform, seemingly?) as well. A tangle of crypto/Web3 concepts. Either a next level alternative to today’s organizational structures and tools, or a messy experiment, or both?

The purpose “creating & enjoying culture” remains vague for me from the outside, while the examples of their accomplishments helped to give some idea. The community seems to revolve a lot around crypto as such: in that sense, is it not self-serving? How can such a community expand to people who are only interested in culture, and not in crypto?

I’d also be curious to see more of what happens in such a community, without becoming a member first 🤔

A tangle of crypto/Web 3 concepts indeed. I seemingly keep finding more & more individuals building in this space and find it fascinating.

"Creating & enjoying culture" is a pretty vague example for what $FWB has provided me with thus far. One part of the community I find incredible on our Discord Server, is the #learning-crypto thread. Pretty much people are sharing what they are reading, having questions about & their thoughts on crypto from a macro perspective.

I'll tell you this most valuable part of joining: is being a part of an online community and having ownership in it. As part of you joining you have to actively invest in the community (75 $FWB Tokens), as the community grows so does the value I have in it & as the community suffers so does my monetary value I have in it.

I am directly incentivized to make the community a better place too, as we just tested this new tool called SourceCred. SourceCred compensates you directly for your engagement you provide on the Discord Server which is our main hub for interacting (for now). Here I was awarded the native $FWB tokens & am just curious to see how this all plays moving forward.

Hope this helps! And sorry for responding just now. Hope all is well!
