BUT, there’s a real movement going on (that involves, among other things, scaling way back on technology-use and screens) and it just doesn’t have a good name yet. “Dopamine fasting,” obviously, isn’t it.
There is a type of feeling that people are having - drained out, exhausted - that makes them want to “dopamine fast.” When Thoreau walked into the woods, he was having similar thoughts. It’s because we’re human.
This Is just like a fad diet, they usually don't work as advertised.
