I thought this article was really interesting, especially as a Gen Z-er there were certain parts which I really saw myself in. But one thing I’m cautious about with this new world of work is the blurring of work + personal boundaries. I hope it’s not something that comes back to bite us later down the line

Valid concern! I’m an edge case millennial/gen-Zer (‘96), I haven’t really experienced generational friction while working in tech in Finland/Sweden. But I’ve heard some stories of events from my partner where work and personal lives were weirdly blurring. Not sure if that only happens with Gen-Z, since the people involved were mostly millennials!

I DID notice very clear generational friction in high school & college though. I also have this headline starred on Readup: It’s Time to Stop Talking About Generations - The New Yorker. This article was definitely in favor of recognizing generational differences, I wonder what the counter-argument is 👀

(PS: welcome to Readup & thanks for posting!)
