I love watching a movie I know nothing about and then reading about it after. I am shocked that this movie isn’t getting rave reviews. I think it was fantastic and love learning about the director.
+1. I love going in blind, but more and more recently I like knowing what I’m getting myself in to. Also putting this on my must-see list.
This is haunting: “What happens if somebody really is unable to find the desire to try?”
I can relate to the author/protagonist perspective in a big way, especially because in my industry (tech/entrepreneurship) it’s also very easy to find your place in the pecking order, just like in Hollywood.

I agree, going in without any expectation is exciting, especially when it turns out to be something you love. Will put this on my list of must see.
