That's SUCH a good book, but also made things very tense around the house while I read it lol. Invisible Women is interesting too, although more of a science/research angle
Very interesting article. I can’t imagine both parents in full time careers and having children. It seems impossible to me. Too many plates spinning for a couple to handle. Someone will suffer from the imbalance. Of course you could hire help but then they are the primary care givers. Psychologists say the first 3 years of a child’s life is foundational and of primary importance. Therefore, it seems a really important subject to discuss prior to marriage.
Definitely suggest the book "All the Rage" by Darcy Lockman.
And yes, to the men out there - it is time to step up.

I am just finishing Invisible Women!
52 hour work weeks? Part of the problem is capitalism, amirite? I remember reading some posts by Penelope Trunk around this topic - she's on the spectrum, so she's fascinatingly blunt about how to choose a mate that supports career and kids. https://blog.penelopetrunk.com/2013/01/07/how-to-pick-a-husband-if-you-want-to-have-kids/comment-page-2/

This article makes me feel terrible. Ugh.
