Really glad the author mentioned parents. We have a toddler and it was always frustrating seeing the assumption that everyone had “free time” in lockdown while we were just completely slammed the whole time.
Fascinating and written with great clarity. Really aligns with my experience of terrible leaders and great leaders at the various organizations I’ve worked with.
Absolutely bang on. Harari will be remembered as one of the clearest thinkers and most lucid writers of our time.
Rare to have such a complex thing distilled to its essence and so simply put. Beautiful.
This is fantastically written and fantastically useful - I work in creative fields and there is so much writing claiming the opposite, this is like a breath of fresh air. I think the skillful integration of group collaboration and solo work is an art, and great creative leaders master it!
Too much power and influence for any one person to have. That being said it feels disingenuous to lump Bill with Mark and Jeff here, considering what he’s doing with his money and time, his prescience on this pandemic and how much work he’s putting into vaccines and treatment.
