Okay, Readup, I am old school and old (65) - never used a dating app. Never had a problem with casually meeting an interested person at say, Barnes and Noble, the supermarket, library, gym, park, museum - namely, just ordinary places that I frequented. I tend to empathize with the author as far as needing to actually meet a potential date in person, as even texting for me seems like hide and seek. I realize this was written in 2018, have things changed since then - barring the obvious current situation of Covid. What has been your experience with dating apps? With speed dating? I truly can’t imagine either scenario.
