There is just so much chaos. The police triggered off this unrest and they are doing a very bad job at handling it. Acting like they've nothing to lose.
I am really hoping that some serious reform follows this. Body cameras on all cops, less gear, less laws to enforce, less reason to be pulled over or questioned, less cops in general.
Rubber bullets are lethal! They are just less lethal than normal ones. Firing them into crowds is like letting off bird shot into a crowd, not as dangerous as buck shot but someone is bound to get hurt. You also can't aim a rubber bullet, so this is just so irresponsible by people who should really know better. If they don't know better, that is somehow worse.
I read up on what these rubber bullets are and really, it just doesn’t make sense. Videos showing how people try to make these protests peaceful and cops would show and shake things up. Lawlessness starts with them, if we’re being honest. Body cams aren’t helpful too, because as recently reported, they deliberately don’t turn it on at times. Less cops won’t matter, as long as those in uniforms are still racist and cruel, we will Still go through these lot.
