A bit of a tangent, but unlike the previous OJ series, I have no desire to see the show in the least. I think the OJ series was helped tremendously by the great nonfiction series that aired just before it...
I am always impressed by how well Lewinsky has weathered the shitstorm she was thrown into. I was about to go into Highschool when it all went down (and had very Limbaugh-fan parents so you can bet I heard about it peripherally) and all I remember is the slutshaming & jokes.
She has a more recent TedTalk that I saw that totally rewrote the narrative for me and opened my mind to what she went through. Mind bending. For sure there's a double standard with this sort of thing, I'm not sure it's really let up much either.
And I really hope it's been a summer of reckoning for the media and women but...really? has it? I want to believe that, want to at least...tbd if I buy it. Paris. Britney. Monica. and so so many more. It's relentless.
I’m glad to hear she has moved on. I was more appalled by America’s castigation of Lewinsky than her behavior. There has always been a double standard that I find infuriating. If a young college intern had sex with Jackie Kennedy, he would have been a hero and given a talk show. And, for the record, I also thought Monica really attractive and loved her beret.

Always loved Monica Lewinksy . So glad she ended up being able to do what she loves and lead a semi-normal life
