Stunning!! Perfect in its simplicity and beauty. While I have not had the privilege of remembering “otters sliding across the lake at dusk...” I now know what that feels and looks like because of his evocative words. I want more Ben Weaver

And even though we, as in the Kiki and Erica of this lifetime, have never seen otters sliding across the lake at dusk, it’s in the collective consciousness of our ancestors.

I’m sittin’ under an apple tree rn. The blizzard refrain is my favorite part. And:

“could go to a job you don’t love and live in a house you don’t want.”

This guy is also drifting. I need to meet him.

OMG, This is a perfect 10! SO beautiful I’m going to send it to family and friends. What an important message said with words from the heart that speaks only the Truth. I want to read more from this man. On to Google!

Ha! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to lose my shit over this. I read the poem ~20-30 times yesterday. Mary Oliver vibes in a big way.
