This is a short and precise article on the #MeToo movement. Jiayang Fan takes the reader down the path of personal choices and how it is offensive and unseemly to some and beneficial to others. This article is a soft sell for taking a breath and not judging peoples actions as always being a one sided abuser/abused scenario. As a 60 year old man with over hundreds of employees that have worked for our companies I would now be hesitant to mentor a young female employee but would instantly take on a male employee (if that person asked for advice). I believe the tough scrutiny of the #MeToo movement stifles possible, respectful and beneficial connections with caring honest people of different ages and genders. That being said, I am a huge supporter of the movement and its core intent.
