The word delight means “out from light.” The practice of writing essays about delight develops a “delight muscle” which grows delight in ones life. I’d say that’s a worthy muscle to grow in these current times of fear and complaining. Unlike a gratitude journal, delight seems more of a surprise encounter, which really appeals to me. Perhaps more reminiscent of being child like, encompassing curiosity and adventure into the mix. I’m in!
