Well written and witty. Sounds like the author has been through the gambit of wellness before.

      I'm not holding my breathe

I found this article very inspiring and motivating me to try a specific breathing technique. Sounds intriguing and worthy of my time. In the past, I have failed to end my shower with the 30 second blast - especially in winter. Wim Hof is insanely awesome.

      1. Update (8/15/2020):

I did my first Wim Hoff breathing tutorial on YouTube yesterday. It’s the one with Lewis Howes as the student. I have to say, it IS nothing short of miraculous. I followed along and after 3 rounds I was able to easily hold my breath for 3 minutes!!! My entire body tingled and vibrated starting with the first round and continued throughout. I felt so invigorated and “awake”. I followed that with a 15 minute meditation that I was able to enter much more quickly because of my heightened focus. And you will not believe this, but the cold blast in my shower was not only tolerable, it was delightful. All on the first try. I was like an evangelist at lunch telling my husband about this remarkable, easy breathing technique. I will be so interested to hear anyone else’s experience if they try it.

“When you’re looking at these screens, your breathing changes. You’re like an animal in stalking mode. And, if you notice, you’re spending all day taking incredibly small breaths. The only time you’re really breathing is when you take a big, expansive sigh.” Breathing properly, she maintains, is the single most important intervention you can make for your own health. Cheap, too.
