I can never get enough Picasso. I read Life With Picasso by his French mistress Francoise Gilot and saw the movie Surviving Picasso starring Anthony Hopkins who did a remarkable job portraying him. Lets face it, geniuses, creators of revolutionary new ideas and forms, are interesting. Their egos tend to make for disastrous personal lives but it seems to go with the territory. Best to love their art, not them!

Picasso and sculpture, Picasso and photography, Picasso and the theatre, Picasso and ceramics, Picasso and Matisse, Picasso’s Picassos … is there no end to the ways in which the artist has been re-examined, in exhibition after exhibition, study after study, both during his long career and even more since his death aged 91.
