WOW, I’m feeling super naive! My first encounter with John of God was on 60 Minutes. Being a credible investigative show, I was skeptical but leaning more towards acceptance as truth, afterall, there is much that we are discovering about ourselves through the science of Quantum Physics. There is so much more to our power than we were ever taught. I even knew someone personally who went to Brazil and experienced the healing powers of the crystal mountains where John of God resides. Yet, I also know of several friends who were involved in the spiritual movement who were preyed upon by their gurus. There is no depth to the disappointment and pain revealed by the #MeToo movement. The pervasiveness is astounding, mind blowing. We don’t know if he is guilty but I’m inclined to beleive the 200 women! What abuse of power - hideous. I can only say that I’m really glad this movement has gained momentum and credibility - the old must die to usher in the new. Patriarchy no more!
