      Man, I really feel for people newer to sobriety right now or those who depend on meetings. The urge to check out is strong with all the craziness of quarantine. I often find myself pacing the house like a caged tiger, trying to burn off nervous, hyper energy I don't know what to do with but I'd take that over a hangover any day. I like this take, I don't totally align with all of her conclusions, but I'm glad she shared and think its valuable

        I agree Sobriety is so much more than not drinking. Learning how to make choices for our own well being and how those decisions affect others around us is much more possible when we are not perpetually recovering from our poor decision to poison our brains with alcohol.
