I'm really struggling with my rating on this one. The piece is well written and although I found the author's attempt to answer the question posed in the headline lacking, in a way his own insufferableness did a better job of explaining Rogan's appeal than his prose.
I'm a semi-frequent watcher of Rogan's podcasts for the same reason I read articles in The Atlantic. Joe certainly has his faults, but at least he's not a sanctimonious asshole. It's always important to have a counterbalance. My favorite episodes are the ones where Joe will have on guests with opposing viewpoints and moderate a civil discussion. I'm going to give the article an 8. There's only so much one can expect from the ultrawoke Brooklyn writerbro.
