This article focuses on women and workplace harassment, but I think you could make the same case that HR is bad for overall employee health and well-being for all of the exact same reasons. Basically, the HR dept doesn't work for employees. It works to hide stuff, cover stuff up, and decrease risk/liability for the organization as a whole. It works for the big dogs up top.

      The facade is thin and getting thinner. If you think HR has anything to do with improving the lives of employees, you might be falling for some seriously fake news.
