Loved this and super love Mary Oliver. I want to be a noticer and believe I am getting better and better at slowing down, being present and noticing the beauty and chaos before me. I love the idea of attention as being the precursor to devotion. Namaste

Don’t we all. This is a knockout, Kent. Great find!

I’m trying to figure out what to put in the “Welcome to Readup” email and I feel like we should just send a read-link to this article to all new users. Like: “Read this to get started.” It’s pretty much what we’re all about.

Yesssssssssssss!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this reminder! I am getting my Mary Oliver collection from the closet today! “When it’s over, I want to say: All my life/I was a bride married to amazement./I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.” What is more attractive than a person who pays attention - to everything!

Very true..We look but don't observe. Truly Attention is the beginning of devotion.
