I like the idea of writing an entire article to correct a pet peeve. And I’m glad I now won’t make the mistake but also annoyed that I am now doomed to notice every time someone else does. I’m going to try to find an article now for my most bothersome grammatical error: when a photo caption is written “My best friend & I” - drives me crazy. The rule is if you remove the other person the “I” or “me” should still make sense and you wouldn’t say “this is a picture of I”
