I just spent twenty minutes looking up old NYC gay bars to find the one that inspired a sexy one I wrote (maybe The Cock; but I think it was next door to The Cock and now closed)- I can’t recall my tone in it though. It may not have been salvaged. It may have died on an old broken device. 😞
