Over the years, you realize that it is about the little things. The bits of thoughtfulness, dash of kindness, the consideration, taking time to really listen to and understand what is being asked, what is being said. We all simply want to be heard.
I think most issues with couples go way beyond the surface “annoyances” to much deeper problems with, perhaps, feelings of not being seen, heard or valued - on both sides. Marriage is an art, each participant an artist - what do you want to create?
