      Hilarious and True-True Good.

I didn’t feel like putting “Stanford” in the education field, because I thought that that would look so sad if anybody saw that and was like, “Wow. So Bill’s life fell apart and now he’s trying to ride on the fact that he went to a good school over a decade ago?”

I don’t really have any pictures of myself, so I tried to take a few using Photobooth. (Yikes!)

Anyway, there was only one question that I was able to answer: “Interested in: Men, Women or Both?”

And I was like, Really? Again? Coming out to humans is exhausting. Coming out to robots is demoralizing. Coming out to robots on Facebook because I can’t think of anything else to put on the damn profile page is a hellish nightmare.

      Then I remembered, I don’t give a fuck.

I don’t have the luxury of time to give a fuck.

This is an absolute riot, very fun read and v relatable.

His status on Twitter never mattered to me, but while I was on my run, I was like, “Oh my god, if I play my cards right, he’ll retweet me and shit. This is huge!” And that, suddenly, made me feel kinda horrible. I felt like he would think that I was using him. I felt like I was using him. (For fuck’s sake, am I using him?!)

This, omg this. It's why I had to deactivate my personal Instagram. I realized the people on there I didn't keep around for friendship, I merely felt like I had to keep it in case I had a project I wanted to share with that audience in the future. felt so gross to realize that.

LMK if you want me to teach you how the "thought leaders" & industry stars say you should act to grow your twitter/social following 😂 my brain is a black hole for social growth tactics/strategies I can't seem to unlearn after years doing social marketing strategy.

Bill, I’m loving this series. Thanks for keeping up the honesty. These spelled out thoughts and feelings document everything that's right, wrong and confusing with social media from a really unique perspective.

      Keep going.

(I find it completely impossible to keep track of time when I’m on Twitter. I’ll write more about that later. I urgently need a way to figure out how to set limits

Relatable. These won't fly on iPad, but a few suggestions for desktop: 1. Take away like/retweet/follow numbers, 2. That Nudge plugin. Curious to see what tools you will try & how they will work out.

When people are like, “Oh, you should watch X,” I’m like, “You really don’t know me.”
