      Is this 1975? C is perhaps my favorite language, and the one I have the most experience in, but it's hardly something people recently started using...

        Good luck indeed! The plea for volunteers was so ridiculous. Murphy's acting like the age of the system is the problem but I'd argue it's pretty clear from his statements that the real issue is that his IT departments responsible for maintaining these systems are poorly managed and inadequately funded.

      But really, at what point do they get to decide when to change the structure of these systems? The way languages and all other tech are popping these days, this statement is very understandable.
