      Incomplete article.

This seems like another way of saying “flatten the curve” which wasn’t that the prevailing advice 7 months ago that somehow the media stopped covering as the election drew nearer?

The media industry has capsized. It is fully upside-down at this point. They say what people want to hear. We only have a teensy-tiny little sliver of "news" or "information" media left at this point versus wayyyy too much "entertainment" media. And while journalists are drowning, the social media orgs are partying on the underside of the hull.

Also, at this point, I'm trying hard to convince myself that humanity doesn't want to be locked down, despite lots of evidence to the contrary.

      interesting take.

there is always the unintended consequences of whatever our decision would end up bringing... in regards to having a lockdown or not.

it was from my understanding initially that the lockdown that ensued in America was well worth it, due to the lack of PPE our country had initially. Now unfortunately, the pandemic is harming the economy more-so arguably, as businesses are seemingly getting crushed day-in and day-out.

it is just unfortunate that the big continue to get bigger, as the small continue to get smaller. tough decisions will have to be made, but we must measure the tradeoffs as a society.

Responsibility is required not lockdowns. Under lockdown the poor get poorer.
