I used to draw tally marks for each cold call I made (despite using a CRM) to have a visual cue. This "Paper Clip" idea sounds great and I'll implement it from tomorrow on as it forces you to finish a specific # of calls by the end of the work day and at the same time offers a visual habit cue.
