        Agreed. I think it's the right way to treat people.

        Just last week we had a conversation with a new sales guy. If he stayed past the week we would have to pay a sum to the head hunter who found him, but he hasn't made a sale yet (I think more to do with the messaging and COVID environment than him). We told him: "We think you're worth investing in but it is going to cost us. If you want to go now is the time to do it and we'll pay you through Christmas (still cheaper than the head hunter fee)." He chose to stay, which is great. But now I know we have a dedicated guy who wants to be here and he knows we value him enough to invest in him.

        Knowledge is power.
