      Short but sound advice. Keeping a journal is a great practice, as is “Morning Pages” made famous by Julia Cameron in the Artist’s Way. Both are just for yourself. Stream of consciousness bypasses the inner critic and gets you into flow. Perhaps even a great warm up to your other writing. Like stretching before your workout.
