Great article. Important things to consider especially unhealthy lifestyles and giving up toxic and negative people around you.

Yes on giving up on toxic people. About 10 years ago, a couple that my wife and I had spent a lot of time with for years ghosted us. The last word from them was, "Things Change." I have no idea what that referred to. The husband was my oldest friend, we met in 1977. They were, however, bitter people who reveled in schadenfreude. We've found that, although we miss dinner and movies out with them, our attitudes improved with their absence.

Impulsive web browsing and television watching are diseases of today’s society.

Hmm. I'm browsing the web now, and I'm about to watch TV...

Some of the advice in the article are strong beliefs of mine, others seem inconsequential. I've always, since I learned to read in the '60s, found reading to be a vital activity and I spend more of my free time reading than I spend on my several other hobbies.

This is a 10 - every suggestion is spot on. Love how concise and practical it is. Print this and put it where you can see it. Embodiment of these ideas is key - consistency wins. Being responsible for your life is not scary - the alternative is! Rave on!
