      Jeff/Bill,

      I am www.hummingverbs.wordpress.com

What is the best way to get verified as such? Writing is moving at a snail’s pace these days and I know the likelihood of being read up to the $10 minimum is nil atm; however I would love to get verified for future possibilities. Thank you both.

There's a button named "Get Verified" on your settings page.

KapteinB, I have sent the confirmation email thrice now for verification and have yet to receive any notification regarding writer verification. How do I know? Thanks.

What?! I don't have any "confirmation emails" from you. When you submit the verification form, it should send something to me. If that's broken, I need to know.

We def want to get you verified. And from the time we get the request, it shouldn't take more than a day.

            Hitting you up right now.

          Thank you, KapteinB!

My iPhone is disabled via top corners due to unusual fall which prevents certain tap options within apps. Thank you for the link and assistance.

Readup has become so commonplace in my life for online reading bypassing advertisements of all sorts... I still often wonder how the heck people can do any meaningful online reading with ad interruptions.

"Readup is the first and only subscription platform to use the read as a basis for writer compensation. This is revolutionary, and absolutely crucial to the simplicity and clarity of our subscription model."

Seeing my first month's impact with a $4.99 a month subscription was well worth it. A future in which there is less disparate "paywalled substacks" for example, and more online availability to talented writers (who will now be rightly compensated) for excellent writing is what I am excited for.

It was a very cool thing to see that first month's impact rightfully monetizing the authors I read most, and I am eager to see the future of the internet in which Readup will help pave.

Goodbye Web 2 and hello Web 2.5. Readup is a great product to bootstrap our way to Web3. Web3: an internet that is built around revolutionizing agreements and value exchange.

Readup is the first and only subscription platform to use the read as a basis for writer compensation. This is revolutionary, and absolutely crucial to the simplicity and clarity of our subscription model. Even other reading-focused services like Medium and Scroll use a murky time-on-page “engagement” metric to divide up subscription revenue. We think that’s ridiculous. Reading an article is fundamentally different from scrolling through a feed or skimming headlines. If a piece is well written, it is deserving of your full attention. Skimming and scanning and other half-focused behavior doesn’t count. You either read something or you didn’t. We believe that so many of the ills that are plaguing the incumbent social media platforms are due to a failure to appreciate the importance of that distinction.

Grateful for all that you and Bill have done to build Readup, Jeff. Cheers to Readup's growth, fixing the internet, and cultivating readers and thinkers!

Readup is the best online reading experience ever! I’m so accustomed to add free reading, that I now subscribe to Youtube for the same reason. I’m SO much more aware of distractions - Google is a nightmare! Quality writing is expansive, inspiring and one of the greatest pleasures in life. Deep reading fills you so when you do converse something of substance is exchanged. Compensating the writers is essential - they deserve it. I have had the great fortune to meet so many diverse and creative writers on Readup. It has even propelled me to buy their books, if available. Truly can’t say enough about this innovative solution to all the nonsense that is pulling for one’s attention these days. And the community is exceptional!
