“It’s no niagara but it’s all we got.” - the Cuyahoga park ranger when I asked them about the falls in the park last year. The honesty about the mediocrity was hilarious.
Loved this. And it seems to me that the Cuyahogans enthusiasm for their modest park and average river and Bill’s enthusiasm for his crusty mug concoction and muddy runs are the same thing- almost musical satisfaction with what suits the particular soul.
There is nothing mundane about Bill on the road! It’s always interesting because we are inside your head, which is such a fun, delightful place to be! I anticipate each post from you like the next episode of Seinfeld. Keep them coming!
It’s 8:30am and I already finished today’s post AND breakfast! The first-thing-in-the-morning routine is SO the move. It takes the place of my dream journal/morning pages/morning reading, but seems like a great tradeoff. And fun! Everything’s on billloundy.com if you don’t want to wait for them to pop up on Readup. Either way, so glad you’re enjoying!
Your second post is already so much more natural and flowing and stream-of-consciousness than your first. I can almost hear your voice saying these words.

“More delicious than anything that can be bought anywhere, I’m certain of it.” You have some explaining to do, mr.

Ps: Your titles always capture my attention first, then I see it’s your piece! Love your titles!

If Readup ever does a meetup and serves breakfast, I am bringing my own mug. I could see your "crusty mug" that clearly. Lol
