Incredible! The hypocrisy is maddening, infuriating. The Catholic Church is rife with abuse. It needs a complete overhaul. Let’s start with getting rid of celibacy, allowing women to be priests, acceptance of the LGBTQ communities, birth control, divorce. - just to name a few. The message of any “religious” group needs to be Love - period! And the power HAS to be shared. And not to mention the money that the church has! Where’s the vow of poverty?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hypocrisy is rampant in other "Christian" faiths too, especially evangelicals. I do go to a Christian church (Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, very far from evangelical), and as far as I know, our denomination has fewer hypocrites, but I wonder...
