I have to admit I’m torn between the two a bit. I think getting directly involved is more of the way to go with it.
The part that confuses me a bit is the social media-like functionality of BitClout. This is why I have chose to list myself on IdeaMarket, as it is built as a supplement to the pre-dominant social media sites.

I will admit the future funding of projects empowered by a business model created by platforms like IdeaMarket & BitClout... is inspiring yet dystopian.
I think the bottom line is: with social media the way it stands right now... all the power is in the advertisers hand, and frankly Web3 offers us the opportunity to switch this paradigm. Power to the creators and the early “token holders” of these creators.
I think the incentives that can be built off of the back of this tokenization idea, is the most exciting part. For example, to my top 5 token holders, I would write them a song for example by a certain date. For another example, they could get free front-row ticket to all shows.
This is all just speculation, but if you haven’t heard of BitClout or IdeaMarket (the ideas are quite similar) I advise you to study these. This may just end up being the future of the internet. For good or ill.
