Although there are some interesting tidbits (the planes, the gambling, the successful real estate career) the article unfortunately doesn't answer the main question: "Who Was Stephen Paddock?" It's a surreal & sad feeling to crave an explanation to something that's probably inexplicable.

Also, looks like NYTimes decided not to allow comments on this one. I wonder why? Seems like there's a lot to talk about here.
