Yes, we all learn slightly different histories - but as a former history teacher I can tell you these books have little real influence. Most of the kids don't read the text - even when assigned. And the text are rarely assigned as a straight read. I would expect California to have more progressive text books and would expect Texas to have less progressive texts, what is the scoop here?
