Powerful. I've been listening to her music the last days and it does stand out.

In 2015, one of Imam’s cousins was among the many thousands of migrants attempting to make their way across the Mediterranean into Europe after the outbreak of the Syrian civil war.

Although Sweden is known for being one of the world’s premier suppliers of dance-pop, it also has one of Europe’s most vibrant hip-hop scenes.

Yep. This became clear to me when I was in a taxi on visit in Berlin in 2019. The driver said "Oh, you're living in Sweden? I love Swedish rap man, it's the best." He put on a song (which I Shazamed). That got me started on a humble discovery journey ever since.

More trivia: in a 2020 interpretation/cover song from Silvana I heard this line in the lyrics: "Stora mål, New York Times vet vad Silvana levererar" ~> "Big goals, New York Times knows what Silvana delivers". These rappers :)
