      I love the way he expands the importance of paying attention to attention, as so much more than personal. That attention fuels power... and the appetite for our attention is rapacious. The insight that this "neglect of attention" is behind the radicalization of a lot of people is a really generative lens, too... I heard something about radicalization and the tools used to convert vulnerable targets - it's literally one-on-one grooming... it's giving attention to someone who craves it and doesn't get it. So valuable to hear attention explored with this bigger context.
