      How the mighty have fallen.

It's wild that one individual can move markets. Also that social media has replaced official channels in business.

Great explanation of the etymology of the word "stoned"!

How have "the mighty" fallen? What do you mean? There's been no fall... yet.

Elon Musk is more famous today -- right now! -- than at any other time in history. Not that fame is the only measure that matters, but it definitely matters deeply to him. So he's actually, in some ways, at the absolute top of his game. (The game is fake news.) Although indeed he's def playing with fire.

I was referring to how he went from this:

For two decades, Mr. Musk has been one of Silicon Valley’s most brash and ambitious entrepreneurs, helping to found several influential technology companies. He has often carried himself with bravado, dismissing critics and relishing the spotlight that has come with his success and fortune.

to crying to New York Times reporters about how overworked he is.

      Not okay:

      • Tweetin' and driving at the same time.
      • Tweetin' in general, especially when it's just for attention. Undeniably Trumpian.
      • Blaming "a narrative that will possibly result in Tesla’s destruction." (When you're the king spin doctor, you shouldn't be surprised when spin undoes you.)

      Okay:

      • Not giving an F about the San Francisco office of the Securities and Exchange Commission
      • Not giving an F about board member egos
      • 420 :)
